Scope of Work
Wanzek was hired to provide services for the High Plains Bioenergy Facility, a 30MMGY biodiesel facility located in Oklahoma. The facility has pioneered the use of animal fats as feedstock for biodiesel, producing high-quality alternative fuels obtained from the nearby Seaboard Foods’ Guymon processing plant.
The project consisted of 15 field-erected tanks, 700 tons of structural steel and approximately 31,000 If of piping. Wanzek employed a crew that peaked at 175 craftsmen.
